PALM SUNDAY: Media Fast

Scripture: Mark: 11:1-11

THIS WEEK, WE observe the final events of Jesus’s life. we cannot fully celebrate the joy of resurrection unless we are willing to walk through death—both Jesus’s death and our own dyings. We can make space and time for this journey by cutting out the many distractions that shout at us all the time. Media covers a wide range of things that surround us every day: television, radio, social media, music, electronic games and apps, even newspapers and magazines. If you are unable to fast from all of these items this week, fast from at least three sources of media that you use on a regular basis.
