Scripture: Mark 9:2-9

LIKE THE DISCIPLES, it can be hard for us to see God’s presence and activity, even when it’s right in front of us. This week, use these words as a daily prayer as we enter the season of Lent on Wednesday. Be open to nudges and prompts from the Spirit throughout each day as answers to your requests.

Oh Lord, bathe me in your Presence.
My eyes are clouded; wash them so I can see you.
My ears are clogged; clean them out so I can hear you.
My heart is divided; heal me so I can love you.
And when l am able to see you, hear you, and love you well, grant me the courage to follow you wherever you lead.
Amen.
